ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how an empowerment program can help mothers feel less stressed and more satisfied while making decisions when their children are in the intensive care unit (ICU). The goal is to see if using a specific approach, called the Neuman systems model, can improve the experiences of these mothers during a very challenging time.
To be eligible for this study, mothers must be over 18 years old and have a child who has been admitted to the ICU for at least five days. They also need to be the child's biological mother and agree to participate by signing a consent form. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but once it begins, mothers can expect to engage in activities designed to support their well-being and decision-making skills during their child's hospital stay. This trial aims to provide valuable insights into how to better support mothers facing the stress of having a child in critical care.
