ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring a new way to help doctors find abnormal tissues in the gastrointestinal tract, which includes the stomach and intestines. The study uses a special fluorescent probe that targets a specific protein (VEGF-A) and a type of endoscope called NIR-II, which can show details that are difficult to see with the naked eye. The main goals are to see how well this new method works for detecting problems and to ensure it is safe for patients.

To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have known or suspected gastrointestinal issues, such as lesions or polyps, and be scheduled for an endoscopy. However, if you have allergies to certain dyes, have serious organ problems, or are currently pregnant, you may not be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to have the fluorescent probe applied topically during your procedure, and researchers will closely monitor how well it works and any potential side effects. This study is a step toward improving how we detect and treat gastrointestinal conditions.
