ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how effective perineal massage can be in helping women with gynecological cancer who experience pain during sexual intercourse and vaginal narrowing, known as vaginal stenosis. The goal is to improve the quality of life for these patients by offering a treatment that includes health education about the pelvic floor and ten sessions of perineal massage, each lasting fifty minutes, once a week.
To participate in this study, women aged 18 to 52 who have been diagnosed with cancer-related pain and vaginal stenosis may be eligible. However, women who have had certain surgeries or who experienced similar issues before their cancer diagnosis will not qualify. Participants can expect to receive both education and hands-on treatment aimed at relieving their symptoms and enhancing their overall well-being during and after cancer treatment. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could contribute to valuable research aimed at improving care for women facing these challenges.
