ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help doctors plan surgeries for patients with lung or colorectal issues. Specifically, it’s evaluating the use of 3D models created from standard CT or MRI scans to see if they improve the planning process for surgeries like lung resections (removing part of the lung) or lower anterior resections (removing part of the colon). The goal is to find out if these 3D models make it easier for surgeons to visualize the area they are working on, which could lead to better outcomes for patients.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have had a specific type of lung surgery or colorectal surgery. There are no specific exclusions mentioned, which means many patients could potentially join. If you decide to take part, you can expect to help researchers understand how these advanced 3D models can improve surgical planning. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it welcomes individuals of all genders between the ages of 65 and 74.
