ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective video-based health education can be in helping adults with diabetes learn the proper way to use insulin therapy. Many people with diabetes need insulin to manage their condition, but not everyone knows how to give themselves injections correctly. This study aims to improve patients' skills and confidence in administering insulin, which can lead to better health outcomes and a higher quality of life. Participants will be randomly placed into two groups: one will receive educational sessions that include video demonstrations, while the other will receive standard face-to-face education without videos.
To take part in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old, diagnosed with diabetes, currently using insulin therapy, and have a smartphone with a social media account. Unfortunately, individuals with certain conditions like dementia, hearing or vision impairments, or hand tremors cannot participate. If you choose to join, you can expect to learn more about managing your diabetes effectively through engaging video content, which could make a significant difference in your daily life.
