ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying two different techniques for preserving the bone and soft tissue after a tooth extraction in the smile area, which is often called the "esthetic zone." The two methods being compared are called vestibular socket preservation and the ice cream cone technique. Researchers want to see how each method affects the healing of the area where the tooth was removed, particularly looking at changes in the bone and gum tissue.

To be eligible for the trial, participants should be between 18 and 40 years old and need to have certain teeth that cannot be saved and are scheduled for extraction. They should have healthy gum tissue and no serious health issues that could interfere with surgery. However, pregnant or breastfeeding women, smokers, and those with certain health conditions will not be able to participate. If you join the study, you will receive one of the two treatment methods and be monitored to see how well it works in preserving the area after your tooth is taken out. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to help improve care for future patients needing similar dental procedures.
