ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how personalized music can help people who live with chronic pain. Researchers want to see if listening to tailored music will improve pain levels, reduce anxiety, and enhance overall well-being for participants. They will compare the results of those who listen to the music with a control group that does not, to find out if the music makes a significant difference.
To participate, you need to be at least 18 years old, have chronic pain, and currently be receiving treatment at the pain clinic at CHU de Québec-Université Laval. You should also be comfortable using a computer, tablet, or phone to answer online questionnaires and be able to travel to Université Laval. There are no specific health conditions that would exclude you from the trial, so if you're interested and meet the age and pain criteria, you could be a great candidate! If you join, you can expect to engage with the music program and share your experiences through follow-up questions to help researchers understand its impact.
