ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring whether an online program can help reduce feelings of distress related to managing type 1 diabetes. Participants will be divided into two groups: one group will use the online intervention, while the other group will receive personalized counseling sessions with a psychologist, either online, by phone, or in person, depending on what they prefer. The main goal is to see if the online option is easy to use and if people appreciate it as much as the individual counseling.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be at least 30 years old, have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for over a year, and experience a certain level of distress related to their condition. They should also be proficient in Danish and have basic computer skills. Throughout the trial, participants can expect to engage with their assigned program and provide feedback on their experience afterward. This research could help improve support for people managing diabetes, making it easier for them to cope with their feelings and treatment.
