ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how early movement, or mobilization, affects recovery in patients who have experienced a type of bleeding in the brain called subarachnoid hemorrhage, which is often caused by a burst aneurysm. The researchers want to see if getting patients up and moving sooner, compared to just resting in bed, can lead to better health outcomes. They will be comparing two groups: one that starts moving early and another that follows the standard care of staying in bed.
To participate in this trial, individuals need to be at least 18 years old and have a certain level of health before their brain injury. They should also have had their aneurysm treated and must enroll within 72 hours after the bleeding starts. Participants can expect to either begin moving around shortly after their treatment or continue with standard bed rest care. It’s important to know that this study is currently recruiting, and anyone interested should review the eligibility criteria or speak with their healthcare provider for more information.
