ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a method called digital storytelling can help children with cancer manage their symptoms, like anxiety, fatigue, nausea, and pain. Digital storytelling involves children sharing their experiences and feelings through stories, which may make them feel better. The researchers want to find out if children who use this method feel less anxious, less tired, have less nausea, and experience less pain compared to those who do not use it.
To be eligible for the study, children must be between 7 and 18 years old, have received at least one treatment for cancer, and be in a specific treatment phase called consolidation. Parents must agree for their child to participate. If chosen, children will visit the clinic every 7 to 15 days to go through the storytelling process, which has four stages. After completing this process, there will be a meeting to discuss their experiences. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it offers a unique opportunity for young patients to express themselves while possibly improving their symptoms.
