ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different methods of pain relief for patients undergoing surgery to correct a condition called pectus excavatum, which is a deformity of the chest. The researchers want to find out if combining two types of pain blocks—Serratus Anterior Plane Block (SAP Block) and Transversus Thoracic Plane Block (TTP Block)—can provide better pain relief after surgery than using just one of these methods. Pain management is very important following this type of surgery, and the aim is to help patients feel more comfortable during their recovery.
To participate in this trial, patients must be over 15 years old and scheduled for surgery to fix their pectus deformity. However, those with known allergies to local anesthetics, those who are uncooperative, or those who do not wish to participate will not be included. Participants can expect to receive either one or both pain-relief techniques during their surgery, and their recovery will be monitored to see how well these methods work for pain management. This trial is currently looking for volunteers, and it aims to improve the overall surgical experience for future patients.
