ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how using a stress ball during labor can affect pain, anxiety, and overall satisfaction for women giving birth. The research is taking place at Karabük Training and Research Hospital and aims to find out if squeezing a stress ball can help make the labor experience more manageable and enjoyable.
To participate in this study, women need to be at least 38 weeks pregnant and have a healthy baby positioned head down for a vaginal delivery. They should be in the early stage of labor, where the cervix is starting to open but not fully dilated yet. If eligible, participants can expect to use a stress ball during their labor and share their experiences regarding pain levels and how they felt throughout the process. It's important to note that women with certain health conditions or complications may not be able to join the study.
