ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how children's dental anxiety is related to their parents' dental anxiety, as well as the child's age, gender, and dental health history. The focus is on children aged 6 to 8 years who are visiting the dentist for the first time. To gather information, researchers will ask both children and their parents to fill out questionnaires about their feelings and experiences related to dental visits.
To participate in this study, children must be between 6 and 8 years old, visiting the dentist for the first time, and accompanied by a parent. Unfortunately, children with physical or mental disabilities or those who choose not to take part will not be eligible. If selected, participants can expect to share their thoughts and feelings about dental visits, which will help researchers understand how to better support children with dental anxiety in the future. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to shed light on an important aspect of children's dental health.
