ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new program called the Asthma Care Pathway, which aims to improve how children with asthma attacks are treated in the Basque Healthcare Service. Asthma is a common condition in kids that can significantly affect their daily life. The program provides clear steps and guidelines for healthcare professionals to follow when caring for children experiencing mild to moderate asthma attacks. This includes ensuring proper use of medications, assessing the severity of the condition, and gathering feedback from both families and healthcare providers to improve the care process.
The trial is recruiting children aged 2 to 14 who have had an asthma attack, as well as healthcare professionals who work in pediatric care. Participants can expect to be part of a structured approach that includes both surveys to measure how well the new care plan is working and discussions to identify any challenges in implementing it. By participating, families will help shape better asthma treatment practices for their children and for others in the future.
