ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of Reiki therapy on women who have had a cesarean section and are hospitalized. Reiki is a gentle, hands-on technique that aims to promote relaxation and healing. Researchers want to see if this therapy can help reduce feelings of anxiety and depression, improve comfort, and support breastfeeding during the hospital stay.
To participate, women need to be over 18 years old, have had a cesarean section, and be willing to join the study. Importantly, they should not have any diagnosed psychiatric conditions or allergies to the therapy methods used. The trial will involve 60 women divided into two groups: one group will receive 30 minutes of Reiki therapy, while the other will not. Throughout the study, researchers will gather information on participants' comfort levels, anxiety, and breastfeeding experiences. If you're interested and meet the criteria, this could be a unique opportunity to explore the benefits of Reiki during your recovery.
