ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring the connection between dental crowding and the development of cavities, also known as caries. Dental crowding happens when teeth are too close together, making it hard to clean them properly with a toothbrush. This can lead to food getting stuck between the teeth and more bacteria forming, which can increase the risk of cavities. The study aims to understand how often cavities occur in young adults who have crowded teeth.
To participate in this trial, you must be a young adult aged between 12 and 30 years and have some crowding in your front teeth. However, if you are currently receiving orthodontic treatment, have missing front teeth, or have certain physical or mental disabilities, you won't be eligible to join. If you do participate, you can expect to share information about your dental health and possibly undergo some assessments related to your teeth. This research is important as it can help improve dental care for those with crowded teeth in the future.
