ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two treatments—Therapeutic Touch (TD) and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)—to see how they affect mood and fatigue in women who have just given birth. Both methods aim to help improve emotional health and energy levels after delivery. The study will take place from November 2023 to November 2024 with women who have had a vaginal birth and are registered at a health center in Konya. Participants will be divided into three groups: one will receive TD, another will receive EFT, and a third group will not receive any treatment, which will help researchers compare the effects of these interventions.
To be eligible for the trial, women must be at least 18 years old, have had a vaginal birth, and be between three to five days postpartum. They should be able to understand and speak Turkish and must agree to participate voluntarily. Women who have had any psychiatric conditions, chronic diseases, or complications after childbirth will not be included in the study. Participants can expect to engage in either TD or EFT sessions, which are designed to help improve their mood and reduce fatigue during the challenging postpartum period.
