ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how mental health information shared on social media affects people's behavior regarding seeking help for issues like depression, anxiety, and stress. The researchers want to understand if seeing this content encourages people to seek support or diagnose themselves. They will survey over 600 adults using a well-known psychological theory to analyze the connections between social media exposure and mental health actions.
To participate, you need to be a healthy adult aged 21 to 34, or a university student aged 18 to 34, and you must use at least one social media platform like Facebook or Instagram. It's also important that you can read and understand English and have lived in Singapore for at least two years. If you’re interested, you'll be asked to answer questions about your mental health and your experiences with online mental health content. This is a great opportunity to contribute to research that could help improve mental health support in the community!
