ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding sleep disorders in people living with HIV (PLHIV) in northern France. Research shows that those with HIV often experience sleep problems more frequently than the general population, but we don’t know enough about the different types of sleep issues they face. This study aims to find out how common these sleep disorders are, particularly conditions like sleep apnea (which causes breathing problems during sleep) and restless legs syndrome, and to explore how factors like age, gender, and HIV treatment might influence these issues.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be adults living with HIV who are usually treated at specific healthcare centers in northern France. Unfortunately, people who are minors, do not speak French well enough, or cannot give informed consent are not eligible. Participants will help researchers gather important information that could lead to better ways to manage and detect sleep disorders in people with HIV. This study is not yet recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know might be interested, keep an eye out for updates on when it begins!
