ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help adults with a condition called REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (RBD), which often causes disturbing nightmares. The goal is to see if a non-medication treatment can reduce the frequency and intensity of these nightmares. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with RBD and experiences nightmares at least three times a week, you might be eligible to participate. Participants need to be at least 18 years old, live in the U.S., and have a stable medication routine for sleep and other related issues. Additionally, it’s important to have a romantic partner who is willing to join in on the study.
Participants will take part in seven online sessions where they will learn techniques to improve their sleep and reduce nightmares. Their partners will join for two of those sessions. During the study, participants will also complete two assessments to track their progress. This trial is currently recruiting, and it provides an opportunity for those struggling with RBD and nightmares to try a new treatment approach while getting support from their partners.
