ClinConnect Summary
The "Community Spirit in Residence for the Elderly" clinical trial is exploring how to build a strong sense of community among older adults living in residential settings. The study focuses on understanding what helps or hinders social participation and the creation of community spirit in these environments. By gathering insights from both site managers and residents, the researchers aim to identify ways to enhance social connections and support among seniors.
To participate, individuals must be either managers of the residences or residents who live in the independent sections of the targeted facilities. Close caregivers of these residents are also welcome to join. However, individuals with certain conditions, like significant language difficulties or neurocognitive disorders, won't be eligible. Participants can expect to share their experiences and insights, contributing to a better understanding of how to foster a supportive community for the elderly. This study is currently looking for participants, and everyone, regardless of gender, is welcome to join!
