ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the impact of how questions are phrased when patients report their health experiences. Specifically, it looks at whether the words used—whether they are positive or negative—affect how patients feel about their conditions, and if answering these questions multiple times influences their thoughts and behaviors. The aim is to understand the best ways to ask patients about their health to get the most accurate information.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 18 and 74 years old, speak English well, and be comfortable using technology to answer online questionnaires. You must also have a speech-related condition such as muscle tension dysphonia, laryngeal obstruction, ALS, or speech difficulties from a stroke or brain injury. If you decide to join, you can expect to complete a questionnaire online, and your feedback will help improve how healthcare providers understand and support patients with speech disorders.
