ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on creating and testing a series of online videos designed to help people quit smoking. If you're a daily smoker who wants to reduce your smoking but isn’t currently in a smoking cessation program, you may be eligible to participate. The study will involve watching six short videos, each lasting about 6.5 minutes, that teach important strategies for quitting smoking, like recognizing triggers that make you want to smoke and learning relaxation techniques.
As a participant, you’ll share some information about yourself and your smoking habits at the beginning of the study and again after watching the videos. Researchers will also ask about your motivation to quit and how you feel about the videos. This trial is currently looking for participants aged 65 to 74, and they welcome individuals of all genders. Your involvement could help improve resources for others trying to quit smoking in the future!
