ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding what motivates older cancer patients to stay active and eat well. It aims to gather information about different groups of patients based on their daily motivations for physical activity and nutrition. By doing this, the researchers hope to create a special program that helps these patients stick to personalized goals for exercise and nutrition, which will be developed together with their healthcare team.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be 70 years old or older, have cancer, and currently do not meet the recommended physical activity levels. They also need to agree to participate by providing written consent. Throughout the trial, participants can expect to engage with a multidisciplinary team and take part in assessments that will help tailor the program to their needs. It’s important to note that individuals with certain conditions, such as brain metastases or those who cannot engage in physical activities, will not be eligible. This study is currently looking for participants, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria, it could be a great opportunity to receive support for maintaining health during cancer treatment.
