ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, titled "Nutrition Optimization and Community Upliftment for Postpartum Recovery," aims to explore how specially designed meal delivery programs can help new mothers recover after pregnancy complications like high blood pressure. The study will compare two meal delivery options: one that provides only prepared meals and another that also includes fresh food deliveries tailored to each mother’s cultural preferences. The goal is to see if these meal options can help mothers maintain a healthy weight after childbirth and prevent long-term health issues, particularly for Black women who face higher risks of serious health problems after pregnancy.

To participate in this study, you must be a Black or African American woman aged 18 or older, have experienced high blood pressure during pregnancy, and come from a low-income background. You will be asked to fill out online surveys and share information about your weight and blood pressure at the start of the study and again at three and six months after giving birth. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but if you're interested, it will be an opportunity to access support and resources that could positively impact your health and your family’s well-being.
