ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying an advanced tool that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help doctors accurately identify and classify polyps found in the colon during colonoscopy. Polyps are growths that can sometimes lead to colorectal cancer, so understanding their risk level is crucial for deciding the best treatment and planning future check-ups. The goal of this trial is to create a reliable system that can categorize polyps into five different risk groups, which will help ensure patients receive the right care, regardless of the doctor’s experience.
To participate in this trial, you must be at least 18 years old and undergoing a colonoscopy for symptoms or routine screening. Unfortunately, if you have certain conditions like colitis-related dysplasia or if you are pregnant, you will not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to contribute to the development of this important AI tool, which aims to improve how polyps are diagnosed and treated, potentially reducing the need for invasive surgeries in the future. Your involvement could make a significant difference in enhancing patient care for colorectal health.
