This clinical trial is studying a new way to monitor body temperature continuously using a telemedicine system. Researchers want to find out how effective and safe this system is for adults who have a fever, especially those hospitalized for infections or other illnesses that can cause temperature changes. Up to 40 participants will have a small device placed under their arm (in the armpit area) to measure their temperature for up to 72 hours. After the device is removed, they will be monitored for another 72 hours to check for any side effects.

To be eligible for the trial, participants must be 18 years or older and hospitalized due to an infection or a condition that causes fever. They should be able to have their temperature checked frequently. However, individuals with certain allergies, specific health risks, or who have devices like pacemakers that could interfere with the monitoring system cannot participate. During the trial, researchers will regularly check the participants' temperature and adjust the monitoring if they receive medication to lower a fever. This study aims to improve how we manage and monitor fever in patients.

Eligibility criteria

• Inclusion Criteria:
• • A person of male or female sex
• • Age 18 and over
• • Ability to measure the patient's body temperature frequently
• • People who are hospitalized due to any type of infection or any other diseases that result in variations in body temperature (rise, fall)
• • Completed all potential diagnostics of the hospitalized patient (no interrupting the measurement of the telemedicine device)
• Exclusion Criteria:
• • Allergic to contact with plastic or silver
• • Anatomical anomalies that prevent the placement of the system
• • High-risk health conditions, intensive care and the like
• • A pacemaker or other device on the skin or implanted in the body that emits light electromagnetic radiation
