ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a method called Spencer's technique, which is a type of hands-on treatment used to help improve shoulder function. The researchers want to see if a modified version of this technique can make the shoulder joint more flexible, increase blood flow, and reduce stiffness in the surrounding tissues. They will use ultrasound and special motion capture technology to measure these changes in participants.
To take part in this study, individuals must be between 18 and 50 years old and should not have had any recent shoulder injuries or surgeries, especially to their dominant arm. Participants should also not have certain medical conditions like diabetes or cervical radiculopathy (a pinched nerve in the neck). Those who join the trial can expect to undergo assessments to track the effects of the treatment on their shoulder function. Overall, this study aims to provide new insights into how this technique may help people with shoulder problems.
