ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the Muscle Power Sprint Test (MPST) to develop updated reference values for children aged 5 to 12 years. In simple terms, the researchers want to find out what is considered "normal" performance for kids in this age group when they do short sprints. To do this, children will be asked to run six short sprints of 15 meters each, with a brief break in between.
To participate, children need to be between 5 and 12 years old and either attend a participating school or an after-school care program. However, kids with certain health issues, like serious heart or breathing problems, injuries that prevent them from exercising, or conditions that affect their movement, are not eligible to join. This study is currently looking for participants, and it’s a great opportunity to help create valuable information that can benefit kids' health and fitness in the future.
