ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) affects exercise and physical activity in children and teenagers. CAH is a condition that affects hormone production in the body, and researchers want to understand how it impacts things like muscle strength, fitness, and overall activity levels compared to healthy kids. The goal is to see if children with CAH might have different experiences with exercise and physical fitness than their peers.
To participate in the study, children aged 8 to 18 who have been diagnosed with CAH are eligible, as long as they and their parents agree to take part. Healthy children in the same age range who do not have chronic diseases can also join the study. Participants will undergo various tests to measure their physical abilities and activity levels. This research is important because it can help improve the understanding of how CAH affects children and may lead to better support and resources for families dealing with this condition.
