ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a digital app can help monitor speech and health in people with neurodegenerative conditions like dementia, motor neuron disease, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease. Many individuals with these conditions experience speech difficulties, and the researchers want to see if using a smartphone app to record and analyze speech can provide valuable information for diagnosing and tracking these diseases. The goal is to better understand how speech changes in people with these conditions compared to those without any neurological issues.
To participate, you need to be either diagnosed with one of the mentioned conditions, a family member or caregiver of someone who is, or a healthy volunteer with no neurological condition. Participants must be aged 16 or older and should not have serious vision or hearing problems that would prevent them from using the app. If you join the study, you'll be asked to record your speech using the app, which researchers will then analyze to help improve care and understanding of these conditions. If you're interested, this could be a chance to contribute to important research that may benefit many others in the future.
