ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is about a new online program designed to help families with teenagers who are dealing with mental health issues. The program aims to educate and support parents, helping them to better understand and manage their child’s challenges. It’s specifically looking for parents or caregivers of teenagers aged 10 to 19 who are experiencing mental health problems. To participate, caregivers need to be either a mother or father, have access to a device like a computer or smartphone, have some time to join evaluation sessions, and be motivated to take part in the program.
The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but once it starts, caregivers and their adolescents will work together to provide feedback on the program. It will be important for participants to have a basic understanding of Spanish, as the program will be conducted in that language. This study will help researchers understand how effective the program is in improving the well-being of both parents and their children. If you think you might be eligible or know someone who could benefit from this program, keep an eye out for when the trial begins!
