ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how effective a combination of pelvic floor exercises and a special treatment called high intensity electromagnetic therapy is for women experiencing stress urinary incontinence. Stress urinary incontinence is when women accidentally leak urine during activities like coughing, sneezing, or exercising. The study will involve women between the ages of 20 and 65 who have been diagnosed with this condition and meet certain health criteria. For example, they should not have recent infections or surgeries that could affect the results.
Participants in the trial will be divided into two groups. One group will only do pelvic floor exercises, while the other group will do both the exercises and receive the electromagnetic therapy. Over eight weeks, they will attend sessions three times a week, and the second group will also have additional therapy sessions. Before and after the treatment, assessments will be done to see how their muscle function and quality of life have improved. If you're interested in participating, a researcher will explain everything in detail and help you decide if it’s right for you.
