ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how a specific exercise called Soleus Push Ups (SPU) affects muscle endurance, oxidative stress, inflammation, and fat-related substances in people with different health profiles, including those with Type 2 diabetes, overweight or obesity, and those of normal weight. The goal is to see if this exercise can help improve health markers in participants living in the United Arab Emirates. The study will involve a series of assessments before and after the exercise intervention to measure changes in muscle endurance and various blood markers.
To participate in this study, you need to be a resident of the UAE, between the ages of 20 and 50, and fall into one of the following categories: you have uncomplicated Type 2 diabetes and are on medication, have a normal weight, or are classified as overweight or obese. However, there are some exclusions, such as recent orthopedic surgery, certain cardiovascular conditions, and being pregnant. If you qualify and choose to participate, you can expect to take part in exercise sessions and undergo tests to help researchers understand the impact of Soleus Push Ups on your health. This could be an exciting opportunity to contribute to research that may benefit others in similar situations!
