ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how two different physical therapy techniques—Jones Technique and Cross Friction Massage—can help people suffering from cervicogenic headaches, which are headaches caused by problems in the neck. The goal is to see which of these treatments may be more effective for reducing headache and neck pain. This study is important because, until now, these specific techniques have not been compared for this type of headache.
To participate in the trial, individuals must be between 20 and 40 years old and have been experiencing headaches at least once a week for the past three months, along with neck pain or stiffness. Participants should also have a specific measure of neck disability and show signs of forward head posture. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but once it starts, those who qualify can expect to receive one of the two treatments and contribute to valuable research that could help others with similar headaches in the future.
