ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effects of Su Jok Therapy on patients who have undergone a specific prostate surgery called Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TUR-P) due to a condition known as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). The researchers want to find out if Su Jok Therapy can help reduce pain and anxiety after surgery and improve how satisfied patients feel with their care. This is an important study as it could provide new insights into improving patient comfort and outcomes after surgery.

To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with BPH. This should be your first TUR-P surgery, and you should be able to understand and communicate about your pain and anxiety. However, if you have certain issues like hand injuries that would prevent you from practicing Su Jok Therapy, or if you have diabetes with a high blood sugar level, you may not be eligible. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but if you join, you can expect to learn about and possibly try Su Jok Therapy, which may help with your recovery experience after surgery.
