ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to understand how a specific rehabilitation program can help people with plantar fasciitis, a common condition that causes pain in the heel and bottom of the foot. The study will measure changes in the thickness of the plantar fascia (the tissue on the bottom of the foot), as well as improvements in pain levels, foot movement, and overall foot function. Researchers will also check the alignment of the foot to see if the rehabilitation program makes a difference.
To participate in this trial, individuals should be between 40 to 60 years old and experiencing pain in the heel that is most noticeable when they first get up after resting. They should also have tenderness in a specific area of the foot and a flat foot posture. However, those with certain conditions, like tarsal tunnel syndrome or rheumatoid arthritis, or who have received specific treatments recently, will not be eligible. Participants can expect to undergo the rehabilitation program and have their progress monitored, helping researchers learn more about effective treatments for plantar fasciitis.
