ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a type of therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to see how it can help patients with breast cancer. The researchers want to find out if this therapy can reduce feelings of stress and anxiety related to their illness and help them get back to their normal lives after treatment. To do this, they will compare the ACT therapy with another type of support called Psychoeducation, as well as routine care without any specific program.
To be part of this study, participants need to be at least 18 years old and currently receiving outpatient chemotherapy for breast cancer. They should also be able to read and write, have access to the internet, and feel comfortable participating in online group sessions. However, individuals with serious mental health issues or physical disabilities that make it hard to join the group will not be included. If you or someone you know fits this description, this trial may provide valuable support during a challenging time.
