ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how treating an infection called Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) might help people with a condition known as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). GERD is a digestive disorder where stomach acid frequently flows back into the tube that connects your mouth and stomach, causing symptoms like heartburn and discomfort. The researchers want to see if getting rid of the H. pylori infection can improve these symptoms for patients diagnosed with GERD.
Anyone who has been clinically and endoscopically diagnosed with GERD can participate in this study, and there are no specific exclusions based on age or gender. If you decide to join, you will be part of a group of individuals helping to understand the potential benefits of treating H. pylori on GERD. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to provide valuable insights into better management of GERD symptoms through H. pylori eradication.
