ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how much intensive care nurses know about preventing pressure sores, which are injuries that can develop on the skin when patients are in bed for a long time. The study aims to find out how knowledgeable these nurses are, how their backgrounds might affect their understanding, and what their experiences are in preventing these sores. To gather this information, researchers will conduct surveys and interviews with nurses working in adult intensive care units.
To participate in this study, nurses must be currently working in adult intensive care units and agree to take part in the research. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there’s still time before it begins. Nurses who join will share their knowledge and experiences, helping to improve care for patients at risk of pressure sores. This research is important because it could lead to better prevention strategies and ultimately better patient outcomes in critical care settings.
