ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a device called the CONTEC08C electronic sphygmomanometer, which is used to measure blood pressure. The goal is to determine how accurate this device is for use in doctors’ offices and hospitals, following established international standards for blood pressure measurement. The trial is currently looking for participants aged between 12 and 79 years who are willing to volunteer and provide their consent to take part in the study.
If you decide to participate, you will have your blood pressure measured using this new device to see how well it works compared to other methods. However, not everyone can join the trial. For example, individuals with certain heart conditions, those who are pregnant, or anyone with injuries to their arms that would make it hard to use the device will not be eligible. Overall, this study aims to ensure that this blood pressure monitor is reliable for everyone, which can help improve health care for people with high blood pressure.
