ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different ways to help reduce stress and anxiety in university students. Specifically, it will compare heart rate variability biofeedback training, which teaches students how to control their heart rate to manage stress, with a guided meditation program. There will also be a control group that does not receive either treatment. The goal is to see which method is more effective in helping students feel less stressed.
To participate in this study, students need to be in their second or third year of the Physiotherapy Degree at universities in Seville and must be enrolled in all their courses for the academic year. However, students who have jobs, care for family members, or have certain health conditions will not be eligible. Participants can expect to learn techniques for managing stress and anxiety, and their progress will be monitored throughout the trial. This could be a great opportunity for students looking to improve their mental well-being.
