ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Intervening on Opioid Use and Loneliness," is studying how to help people who struggle with opioid use disorder and also feel lonely or isolated. The researchers want to enroll 300 participants who will be divided into three groups. Each group will take part in six weekly sessions, lasting 40 to 60 minutes, where they will receive support and interventions aimed at improving their situation.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be 18 years or older, understand English, and have access to the internet and a phone. They also need to have a diagnosed opioid use disorder and report feelings of loneliness. It's important to note that individuals who do not fully understand the consent process or do not have consistent access to a phone and the internet will not be able to participate.
