ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating whether applying a special gel called Novox® Drop on surgical wounds can help patients feel better after having their lower wisdom teeth (third molars) removed. The researchers want to see if this gel can reduce problems like pain, swelling in the face, and difficulty in opening the mouth (known as trismus) compared to a regular gel that doesn’t have the active ingredients.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 18 and 35 years old, in good health, and able to understand Italian. You should also be scheduled to have both lower wisdom teeth removed. However, some individuals may not be eligible, such as those with certain health conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure, or if you are pregnant. If you join the trial, you will receive either the Novox® Drop gel or a placebo gel after your surgery, and researchers will monitor your recovery to see how well the gel works. This study is currently recruiting participants, so if you meet the criteria, you might have the chance to help improve post-surgery care for others!
