ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to help patients with knee arthritis during a common surgery called knee arthroscopy, which is used to treat problems in the knee joint. The researchers want to see if using a non-invasive device that distracts or creates space in the knee joint can improve the results of the surgery. They will look at various factors, such as the patients’ medical history and images taken during the surgery, to understand how well this method works.
To be eligible for the study, participants need to be adults aged 18 or older who can give their consent and are already scheduled for knee surgery to fix issues with the meniscus (a cartilage in the knee). However, those with certain conditions, like previous knee surgeries or specific injuries, won't be able to participate. If someone joins the study, they'll be closely monitored during the surgery and their progress will be tracked to see how well the new device helps. This study is currently not recruiting participants, but it aims to gather important information that could improve knee surgery outcomes in the future.
