ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a specific type of training, called motor learning exercises, can help people with a condition known as lateral epicondylitis, or tennis elbow. The trial will look at whether adding these exercises to a standard physiotherapy program over six weeks can improve pain, function, and grip strength in individuals who have been dealing with this condition for a while. The goal is to create a new exercise plan that can help others with similar issues in the future.
To participate in this study, individuals must be between 65 and 74 years old and have been diagnosed with chronic lateral epicondylitis by a doctor. They should also be experiencing some pain, rated above 3 on a scale from 0 to 10. However, those with other wrist or forearm problems or who have received certain treatments in the last six months will not be eligible. Participants can expect to engage in specific exercises and receive support to help improve their condition over the study period. This trial is currently looking for volunteers to join the research.
