ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new method called Piezo-ICSI, which aims to improve the fertilization of eggs and the development of embryos in older women who are struggling with infertility. Specifically, the trial will compare the traditional ICSI method with Piezo-ICSI to see if the newer technique increases the chances of successful fertilization and embryo growth. Women aged between 35 and 42, who have not had more than two previous IVF or ICSI treatments, may be eligible to participate.
If you join the trial, you will undergo the standard procedures for egg retrieval and fertilization. Your eggs will be divided into two groups—one group will receive the conventional method, while the other will use the Piezo-ICSI technique. The trial is currently looking for participants, and it’s important to note that those with certain health conditions, such as uterine diseases or genetic abnormalities, won't be eligible. This trial could offer a new option for women facing challenges with fertility, especially as they get older.
