ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well two treatments—cyanoacrylate (a type of medical glue) and concentrated growth factor (a substance that helps with healing)—can help improve healing and reduce pain in the mouth after a specific dental surgery called free gingival graft (FGG). The goal is to see how these treatments affect the healing process and comfort level of patients after surgery, particularly in the area where tissue is taken from the palate (the roof of the mouth).
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be generally healthy and must not have had any periodontal surgery (which involves treating gum disease) in the last six months. They should also be non-smokers and not have any allergies to medications, as well as not experience high levels of anxiety about dental procedures. If eligible, participants can expect to undergo the FGG operation and then receive one of the two treatments. They will be monitored for how well the area heals and their pain levels during the recovery process. This study aims to find the best way to help patients heal comfortably after their dental surgery.
