ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring how a natural antioxidant called Astaxanthin might help improve thinking and memory abilities in healthy, active women who experience mental fatigue. The researchers want to see if taking Astaxanthin can help reduce any decline in cognitive function that can happen after periods of mental strain.

To participate in the study, women must be between 18 and 39 years old, healthy, and regularly active, meaning they exercise within the guidelines set by the World Health Organization. This includes engaging in moderate to vigorous physical activities for a certain number of hours each week. Participants should also have a stable body weight and a normal menstrual cycle, and they should not be pregnant or trying to become pregnant. If you join the study, you can expect to take the supplement for a period of time while researchers assess its effects on your thinking and memory.
