ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two breathing techniques—Papworth technique and Pranayama—to see how they help people with asthma. Asthma is a condition that makes it hard to breathe, causing symptoms like wheezing, coughing, and chest tightness. The goal of the trial is to determine which technique is more effective in improving breathing, reducing feelings of anxiety and fatigue, and enhancing the overall quality of life for patients.
To participate in the study, individuals must be between 20 and 40 years old and have mild to moderate asthma. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups, with each group receiving 12 sessions of their respective breathing technique over four weeks. Throughout the trial, researchers will collect information using questionnaires and check oxygen levels to assess improvements. Overall, this study aims to understand how these breathing exercises can benefit those living with asthma.
